John McCain is going to be doing more of these themed tours of America, and one of them is going to be on energy and global climate change. It could get him into trouble with Republicans, of course, and with the base, who don’t think there is much climate change going on, but it is something that he’s very passionate about and he’s going to be talking about it.

The BBC’s Katty Kay, in an advanced transcript from Chris Matthews’ weekend show.  Two points here:

1. McCain’s ‘themed tours’ are going to last a few more weeks, and if he pursues them beyond that, Obama will torch him on whatever the theme is, wherever he goes.  This concept only works when you don’t have a head-to-head opponent.

2.  McCain is going to alienate people uneducated and just plain moronic enough to not believe there are some serious climate changes going on?  Who are they going to vote for?  Seemingly, these dolts have no other candidate who they could/would align themselves with, and voting Republican is more than likely an inherent duty for these people, an obligation.

I’m shocked that Hillary and McZombie are both priding themselves on getting the votes of the uneducated.  Yes, we all deserve a vote, but it’s clear that uneducated voters will vote based on things that don’t matter, and even listen to downright lies.
